Lamar Odom receives probation in DUI case

Former NBA player Lamar Odom received three years of probation for his charge of driving under the influence.

Odom pleaded no contest on Monday and along with his probation, agreed to three months of rehab for alcohol abuse and to pay $1,814 in fines.

The Department of Motor Vehicles will be present at a later hearing where the status of Odom’s suspended driver’s license will be settled.

Thirty-four-year-old Odom is currently an unsigned free agent and is married to reality television star Khloe Kardashian.

Odom was placed under arrest for his DUI in Los Angeles on August 30.
