Disney’s ESPN and Fox Corp. announced Monday they will bundle their upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming services, offering sports fans a discounted package starting October 2. The bundle, priced at $39.99 per month, pairs ESPN’s flagship streaming app, launching August 21, with Fox’s new Fox One service, which also debuts August 21. Purchased separately, ESPN will cost $29.99 per month and Fox One $19.99 per month.
The partnership comes amid intensifying competition for streaming subscribers, with live sports seen as a critical driver for growth. ESPN’s app will feature live sports from its TV networks, including ESPN2, SEC Network, and ABC broadcasts, alongside fantasy tools, sports betting integrations, documentaries, and studio programming. ESPN has also expanded its rights portfolio, recently securing the NFL Network and a landmark WWE deal starting in 2026 for events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam. The service will also be available in a $35.99 bundle with Disney+ and Hulu.
Fox One, by contrast, will stream all content from Fox’s broadcast and pay TV networks, news, sports, and entertainment, without exclusive or original programming. It marks Fox’s first major step into direct-to-consumer streaming after shelving a planned joint sports service, Venu, with Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery.
Fox SVP of Strategy Tony Billetter said the ESPN partnership shows a commitment to delivering “the best possible value and viewing experience” for customers. Disney and Fox executives have signaled interest in pursuing additional bundling deals as the streaming market shifts toward packaged offerings.
