Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge reopens

Late Friday morning, the Prince George’s County Fire Department received an alert about a suspicious package on the pedestrian walkway of the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge. Officials reopened the bridge four hours later after confirming with a company listed on the box’s shipping label that the package was harmless. The bridge crosses the Potomac River, and has hundreds of thousands of cars cross it every day.
