Washington, DC – DC Ward 3 residents sue over planned homeless shelter

A 50-bed shelter that was approved by the D.C. Council is planned to be built in the parking lot of the 2nd District Station on Idaho Avenue. However, NBC Washington reports the Council didn’t consult the Advisory Neighborhood Commission about the location.
