WASHINGTON, D.C. NEWS – Teenage boy killed in shooting at Brookland Metro Station

14-year-old Avion Evans was shot and killed on Thursday at the Brookland-Catholic University Metro Station. Metropolitan police say that a group of teens were fighting inside the station before someone pulled out a gun and shot Evans. 

The metro station was closed for five hours after the shooting as the police investigated the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department are actively looking for the suspect in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
