Teen fatally stabbed near Petworth Metro station

D.C. police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a teenage boy in Northwest Washington. An officer who was patrolling the Petworth area found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was discovered around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 900 block of Quincy Street, a block from the Petworth Metro Station.

The boy was taken to the hospital, and later pronounced dead. He has yet to be identified. Police are investigating the case as a homicide.
