SUV carjacked in D.C., child found inside

An SUV with a child inside was carjacked Tuesday night. The vehicle and the child were found shortly afterward. The incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. on Second Street in Southeast, near Ballou High School. A man was getting into his SUV, when two other unknown men violently pushed him to the ground and drove away. The vehicle was recovered a block away about fifteen minutes later. The child who was inside the car was unharmed, and police are still on the lookout for the suspects. Anyone with information should call them directly at 202-727-9099.
