Student injured in Fairfax school bus accident

Fairfax County reported two traffic accidents involving school busses Wednesday morning. The first occurred on Lee Highway and Chantilly Road around 7:40 a.m., and the second was at 8:20 a.m. on Route 28 at Old Mill Road. In the first accident, a child complained of injuries and was taken to a local hospital for observation.

The second school bus was empty of students, though it was rear-ended by a sedan, and the occupants of the sedan and the bus driver were taken to local hospitals.
