President Obama will not “wheel and deal” for Snowden

President Obama has declared that he will not take any unusual measures to arrest NSA leaker Edward Snowden. The president told reporters in a news conference in Senegal, “I’m not going to be scrambling jets to get a 29-year-old hacker.” Obama has not discussed Snowden with the leaders of other countries in an attempt to avoid bringing more attention to the issue.

However, National Security Agency director Keith Alexander is concerned about Snowden releasing more confidential information. He said, “These leaks have caused significant and irreversible damage to our nation’s security.”
