Paris attacks’ ringleader killed

The suspected ringleader of the series of attacks on popular nightspots in Paris, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed in a police raid on Wednesday. The raid was on an apartment in the Paris suburb of St. Denis, where a woman detonated a suicide bomb vest that killed a police dog. Abaaoud’s body was found mutilated with bullets, which may have contributed to the difficulty in his identification. Abdaaoud is reportedly a major link between ISIS headquarters in the Middle East and France.
