Minor earthquake strikes Virginia

A magnitude-2.6 earthquake hit central Virginia on Tuesday at 6 AM. The epicenter was 7 miles east of Buckingham and 53 miles west of Richmond, reports the U.S. Geological Survey. Homeowners told local television stations that they felt their homes shaking; however, there have been no reports of damages or injuries as of yet.
