Metrobus shooter found dead of apparent suicide

Javon Foster, the suspect in a Metrobus shooting that left a young mother dead and her toddler daughter hospitalized, has been confirmed dead in New York of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot. Police investigation into the shooting showed that Foster was in a relationship with the woman, Selina Brown, and had a child with her–presumably the child injured in the attack. He apparently followed Brown to the bus stop and targeted her directly, shooting her three times in the neck, face, and chest. It is unclear whether the child was hit directly or grazed by a bullet that his her mother. Foster has a history of domestic violence and drug charges.
