MARYLAND NEWS – 80-Year-Old man charged with murdering wife in Montgomery County

Montgomery County Police have charged 80-year-old Vivian Stewart Nation with first-degree murder after he allegedly stabbed and killed his 78-year-old wife, Beverly Rose Fletcher, during an altercation in their Leisure World apartment on Saturday. 

Officers responding to the scene found a bloodied knife, screwdriver, and hammer, with charging documents indicating the attack followed a dispute related to a medical issue. Fletcher died from multiple stab wounds and possible blunt force trauma.
