Local actor beaten, robbed in Silver Spring

Frank Britton, an actor at the Roundhouse Theatre in Silver Spring, was beaten and robbed of his iPhone, iPad and wallet by four men, when he was attempting to hail a cab in the 8000 block of Colesville Road, on Tuesday morning. The local actor suffers a broken cheekbone and many other injuries to his head and face. Family and friends are trying to raise money to help Britton pay his medical bills. He has no insurance. Montgomery County police confirmed the attack, but have yet to offer any additional details due to the ongoing investigation.
