Intel predicts sales to be flat as PC sales drop

Intel Corporation believes their sales will drop as the sales of PCs continues to lower globally the company announced on Wednesday. Intel is the largest producer of chips for PCs. They had previously predicted their sales would experience growth this year.

Intel is placing hope in sales of servers, tablets and smartphones to help the company’s profit increase. CEO Brian Krzanich said in a statement, “I’ve made it Intel’s highest priority to create the best products for the fast growing ultra-mobile market segment.”
