Heisman Trophy Winner Accused of Shoplifting Crab Legs

Jameis Winston, a member of the Florida State University football and baseball team, has been accused of shoplifting from a Publix grocery store in Tallahassee, Florida. Winston allegedly ordered around $32 worth of crab legs and crawfish before walking out of the store without paying. According to sheriff’s Maj. Michael Wood, Winston was contacted later that day and was reportedly, “very cooperative.” The Heisman Trophy winner has been suspended by the FSU baseball team, and will also be required to complete at least 20 hours of community service.
