George Washington University student’s body found in South Africa

The body of Nicholas Upton, a George Washington University student who went missing on break in South Africa, has been recovered. The junior had been swimming off the coast of the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa five days ago at the time of his disappearance. “Our hearts go out to Nick’s family and friends. He touched many during his time at GW, and he will be missed,” Vice Provost and Dean of Student Affairs Peter Konwerski stated in an email.
