Fox News announces GOP primetime debate roster

Fox News said Tuesday that the Republican candidates who will be featured in their primetime debate are Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Chris Christie and John Kasich. The debate on Thursday night marks the first of primary season. Fox News chose the top ten most popular candidates based on national polling data from several major sources. The other seven GOP candidates—Rick Perry, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore—will participate in a debate earlier on Thursday evening.
