DC Council Chair Kwame Brown’s chief of staff quits

On Friday, DC Council Chairman Kwame Brown received a letter of resignation from his chief of staff.

Nicole Streeter had been Brown’s chief of staff since 2010, but Brown announced that she now will leave the office.  He said Megan Vahey, his legislative director, will replace Streeter in the interim.

Brown also thanked Streeter for her service and assistance during his transition period after the election.
