Boston marathon bombing suspect committed earlier murder
According to federal law enforcement officials in Orlando, Florida, Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was also responsible for a brutal triple murder outside Boston in 2011. He was assisted by Ibragim Todashev, a Chechen who was killed Wednesday after confessing his direct role in the killings, while naming Tsarnaev as his partner. Todashev was shot after attacking an FBI agent during questioning about the murders and his relationship with Tsarnaev.
The unsolved murder caught the interest of authorities after it was discovered that Tsarnaev was acquainted with one of the victims. The three victims had their throats slashed and marijuana was spread across the bodies. No links have been found between Todashev and the Boston Marathon bombings.
