Beyonce announces at MTV Awards she’s expecting

According to Beyonce as she walked along the black carpet at yesterday’s MTV Music Awards, the pop star and husband Jay-Z are with child. The child will be the couple’s first after three years of marriage.
The announcement immediately overshadowed the rest of the award show which featured a duet between Lady Ga Ga and Brittney Spears and Katy Perry receiving the award for vide of the year. Beyonce later sang the song “Love on Top” while wearing a spangled tux—more proof that she is pregnant.
