Needle found in Halloween candy

The Salisbury Police department was alerted on Sunday to a sewing needle lodged in a 15-year-old’s Halloween candy. The needle was found in a Twizzlers licorice candy with no tampering visible on the wrapper. Police state that the family was trick-or-treating on Saturday on Russell Avenue, Druid Hill Avenue, Riverside Drive, West College, Camden Avenue, Evergreen Avenue and Monticello Avenue in Salisbury. The FBI and police are currently investigating this incident.
