High school student charged with attempted murder

A 17-year-old student at Frederick Douglass High School has been charged with attempted murder after being captured on video brutally beating his football teammate for allegedly stealing his helmet visor. Charging documents state that the victim suffered a concussion, broken nose, and numerous other injuries to his head. The injured teen has been transferred to the University of Maryland Medical Center.
