Green Day member to undergo cancer treatment

Green Day guitarist Jason White has tonsil cancer, announced the band on its website this week. White has a treatable form of the disease, and was diagnosed in an early stage. He is expected to begin treatment soon, and the band says he is likely to make a full and speedy recovery. The band is currently on a break, lasting most of 2014.
