‘42’ wins weekend at box office

The Jackie Robinson biopic, “42” was released earlier this week. During the film’s opening weekend, over $27.5 million was brought into the domestic box office.

April 15th is Jackie Robinson day, a day where all major-league baseball players wear the no. 42 on their jerseys, representing Robinson’s debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947.
