4 men killed in head-on collision

Four young men were killed on Wednesday in a car crash near Chester, MD. All were graduates of Kent Island High School and were struck head-on by a Ford Focus, driven by 73-year-old Eli Dabich Jr. The men were identified as 19-year-old Tyler Elzey, 18-year-old Harrison Rhodes Smith, 18-year-old Cory Pessagno and 19- year-old Michael John.

The speed of the cars seems to be the cause of the collision, but the accident is still under investigation. All four young men had to be cut out of their vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. Dabich was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He is in serious condition.
