Man sentenced to 32 years after death of teenager
Brian Gaither has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for the participation in the murder of a young girl whose body has yet to be found. Gaither was sentenced on Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court for the killing that took place in August of 2010.
The 25-year-old pled guilty to the murder of 18-year-old Latisha Frazier last year, but afterwards, he tried to recall his plea.
Prosecutors claim that Gaither took part in a group that lured Frazier into an apartment to choke and beat her after assuming she stole money from them. Her body was later placed in a garbage bin and is believed to currently be in a Virginia Landfill.
