Since the beginning of the year, gas prices have risen to high numbers that haven’t been seen in nearly two years and the average gas price has been close to $4 per gallon. The frustration stemming from this problem is caused by the discrepancy between crude oil prices and the prices at the gas pump. Crude oil has gone down in price by about $18, so why are gas prices getting higher? Lon Anderson, spokesperson of AAA Mid-Atlantic questions the integrity of oil companies. He wonders if they are simply just being greedy.
