19-year-old arrested for Metro assault

19-year-old Michael Levaughn Williams was arrested on Friday for two sexual assaults on Metro property. Metro police claim that Williams grabbed a woman from behind near the Carrollton/Largo Town Center platform on Jan. 29. He struck again later that next week when he allegedly assaulted the same woman at a different platform.

The victim claims that Williams touched her inappropriately, but she is thankful that a bystander interceded and stopped the assault. The bystander contacted emergency services afterwards, but Williams had already fled the scene. Williams is currently being charged for the assault on Jan. 29th.
