WORLD NEWS – El Salvadorian president meets with Trump at the White House, refuses to return deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia

The president of El Salvador Nayib Bukele said that he would not return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the U.S. after Attorney General Pam Bondi told reporters that the decision would be “up to El Salvador whether the man “mistakenly deported” to an El Salvador prison returns to the U.S.

Butler and Bondi made their comments in the Oval Office sitting alongside President Trump. The Justice Department said in court filings that they are willing to take, “all available steps to remove any domestic obstacles to facilitate his return.

Bukele referred to Abreho Garcia as a “terrorist and stated, “I don’t have the power to return him to the United States.
