WASHINGTON, D.C. D.C. rapper “Fat Trel” accused of passing fake $50 bills

Rapper “Fat Trel”, a District of Columbia native, is accused of passing counterfeit  $50 bills at the Maryland Live Casino. On Sunday evening Ann Arundel County Police were called to the casino where Martel Reeves aka “Fat Trel” tried to use nine fraudulent $50 bills for gambling chips. The music artist, who’s signed with Maybach Music and Atlanta records, told authorities that he received the bills from an ATM machine inside a 7-Eleven in the District. Reeves has been charged with possession of counterfeit currency.
