Two people and dog dead in shooting

Norfolk police officers received a 911 call late Friday morning about a gunshot victim only to find two people and a dog dead inside a house. After unsuccessfully attempting to contact the informer, police forced their way into the home and found the bodies with what looked like gunshot wounds, police spokesperson Sam Shenouda said. Investigators said that it is believed to be a murder-suicide. The victims’ names have not been released.
