Truck driver charged with second-degree murder

A tow truck operator has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly running a man down with his truck.

According to police spokesman Araz Alali a man robbed and physically assaulted the truck driver and then ran off around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.  The truck driver then chased the man and hit him with his vehicle.

The man, 22-year-old Kevin Lewis Crouch, was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Thirty-five-year-old Corey Dion Stoddard is being charged with second-degree murder.
