The White House secret service detained two individuals after they allegedly threw objects over the White House fence. The first man, accused of throwing a cassette tape over the north side fence, complained of health issues during questioning, and was taken to the nearest hospital, but later transferred to the police station. The second man tossed papers over the south side fence. Both men were charged with throwing objects and other missiles. This lockdown occurred only two days after a man in a car caught following a motorcade carry the President’s daughters through the gates was arrested. The driver was given a misdemeanor.
