Police find Army officer dead after manhunt





Leonard John Egland, 37, of Fort Lee, Va, the Army officer suspected in four deaths was found dead by police following a man hunt during Hurricane Irene. Egland was found Sunday in a wooded area in Bucks County, Pennsylvania having died from a gunshot wound.

Egland was being sought in the deaths of his ex-wife, her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s son. Police also report that Egland killed his ex-mother-in-law. Police are not saying whether the gunshot wound that killed Egland was self-inflicted.
