The vehicle and person responsible for a deadly hit-and-run crash on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway has been identified. Rick Warrick was struck and killed as he was changing a flat tire on the side of the parkway earlier this month. The hit-and-run incident made headlines once again when news surfaced that a frantic teenager who contacted 911 was told to stop whining by an operator. Police have identified the person who was responsible for collision that killed Warrick. Warrick’s fiance, Jewel Pearce, was holding up a flashlight for him nearby and was critically injured. She suffered broken legs and a fractured skull. Pearce told police that the car sped off afterwards. Sargent Lelani Woods, with the U.S. Park Police, stated the they  were working together with the U.S. Attorney’s office on the case.
