Ryan Zimmerman’s line drive to right center, which landed in the first row of the crowd, highlighted another victorious Independence Day for the third baseman and the Washington, D.C. Nationals, who beat the San Francisco Giants 9-4 on Wednesday.

Zimmerman had to settle for an RBI double after he missed another home run by inches. The third baseman is 10 for 20 with four home runs and 13 RBIs in six 4th of July games. The Nationals rallied from an early deficit to move 15 games above .500, matching its season-high.
