NATIONAL NEWS— IRS whistleblowers come forward to discuss Hunter Biden’s financial information

House Republicans have raised suspicions as to alleged criminal activity by Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden. The president’s son has pleaded guilty regarding misdemeanor tax charges in what Republicans described as a “sweetheart” deal. This hearing includes two whistleblowers who have come forward— IRS supervisory special agent Greg Shapley and Special Agent Joseph Ziegler. Ziegler’s identity was referred to as “Agent X” until the day of the hearing. This hearing included debate among congressional officials regarding the validity of IRS reports, necessity of the hearing itself, and potential favoritism shown towards members of the Biden Administration.
