More than 100 run for Boston

On Monday night, more than 100 people took part in the “Run for Boston”, a race taking place one week after the bombings occurred during the Boston Marathon. The length of the race was 4.09 miles, which was the number seen on the official race clock when the explosions happened.

The route took runners south to the National Mall where they were encouraged to stop and take pictures of the scenery. Boston-native music also blared from speakers as the runners warmed up.
