Kayla Greenwell, 23, pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor assault in the second degree and was sentenced to 10 years in prison for child abuse. Greenwell recorded herself and posted on social media the videos of her abusing the children in her care.

The daycare, Oxon Hill Early Learning Center, has since been shut down. “Our children are our most precious commodity and they shouldn’t be abused,” said Maryland State Attorney Aisha Braveboy. “The court is going to come down very hard, my office is going to come down very hard on you if you abuse children.”
