Martin Scorsese honored in humanities lecture

On Monday night, the academy award winning filmmaker delivered the 2013 Jefferson Lecture for the National Endowment for the Humanities. Scorsese is the first filmmaker to deliver the speech, which is considered a tremendous honor in intellectual achievement.

Scorsese is being honored for his speech. He has directed over 50 films such as, “Goodfellas” and “The Departed”.
