Kerry Washington marries athlete Nnamdi Asomugha
The “Scandal” star has recently said “I do” to professional football player Nnamdi Asomugha last week in Hailey, Idaho.
The wedding was reported on Wednesday, and a copy of the couple’s wedding license was posted online shortly afterwards. The Blaine County recorder’s office in Hailey confirmed the document was filed on June 24th.
Kerry Washington and Asomugha were married on the same day, with Washington’s parents serving as witnesses and Asomugha’s relative performing the ceremony.
Asomugha plays for the San Francisco 49ers; he has previously played for the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles
Washington’s recent credits include “Peeples” and “Django Unchained.”
