Katie Couric’s new talk show, “Katie,” will premier in fall 2012

Katie Couric has a new show daytime television show premiering in fall 2012 and the former CBS News anchor is reportedly naming her show “Katie.” Following in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres, Couric is hoping to attract viewers through the use of her first name.

The show will reportedly air on ABC in the afternoon.
