Judge does not sentence D.C. officer

Former D.C. police officer, Jamelle Stallings will not be sentenced as originally scheduled by Judge Sherrie Krauser. Stallings was charged with counts of fraud and theft. She was convicted earlier this year of stealing her brother’s identity and withdrawing thousands of dollars in loans.

Judge Krauser claims she does not want to move forward with the case until Stallings receives treatment for a gambling addiction. The new hearing is scheduled for May.
