Howard University cancels Mandela tribute

Winter weather conditions caused Howard University’s tribute for Nelson Mandela to be cancelled.

The tribute was scheduled for Tuesday evening and will now take place on another date in January.

The former South African president was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree when he made a visit to Howard University in 1994.
