Fleetwood Mac singer dies at 66
Former Fleetwood Mac singer-guitarist Bob Welch died on Thursday at his home in Nashville. According to a spokesman for the Nashville Police Department, Welch was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. His wife Wendy told the police that Welch, who was 66, had been suffering from health issues. She found his body and a suicide note Thursday afternoon. Welch, who left Fleetwood Mac in 1974 to start his solo career, is famous for 1970s hits “Ebony Eyes” and “Sentimental Lady.”
