A recent episode of “Family Guy” has been removed from Fox.com and Hulu.com. The episode depicts mass deaths at the Boston Marathon. Fox plans to never let the episode air.

The episode originally aired on March 17 and illustrated Peter Griffin befriending a terrorist who plans to blow up a bridge. When Peter attempts to make a phone call on a cell phone that the terrorist provides him, a bridge explodes and screams are heard.

Edited clips have been circulating online, cutting the explosion to make it seem as though the explosion took place at the Boston Marathon. “Family Guy” creator, Seth MacFarlane, expressed his anger about the edited clip on Twitter, saying, “The edited ‘Family Guy’ clip currently circulating is abhorrent, the event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims.”
