Driver of stolen SUV crashes into bus

An SUV crashed into a D.C. Metrobus after it was carjacked Monday morning.

The collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. by the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Joliet Street.

Two passengers on the bus were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect is in custody, but police have not released details regarding their identity.

The cost of damage has not yet been released.
