Don Payne dies at 48

Writer and producer, Don Payne, passed away this week after a long battle with bone cancer. Payne won four Emmys for his contributions to “The Simpsons”. He also co-wrote “The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” as well as “Thor”.

Executive producer of “The Simpsons”, Matt Selman described Payne as “a gentle soul and a funny, passionate writer.”
