DC police chief to lay wreath on Arlington tomb

District of Columbia Police Chief Cathy Lanier is participating in a wreath ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

The chief is scheduled to lay a wreath on Wednesday morning at the cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Lanier will be joined by Major General Jeffery Buchanan, commander of the Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington.
